We open most of our gifts on Christmas Eve and the one's that Santa brings on Christmas morning! (Our 'children' are 29 yrs old and 20 yrs old...and Santa still visits) However, this year Santa is on a very strict budget and we are concentrating on family togetherness, a special christmas dinner, and just one gift per person - that will be opened on Christmas Eve.Filed CH 7 9/30/2008

have done it both ways. When we don't have a lot, we wait and open them all at once, so it seems like you are getting more(for the kids). We always go to my Dad's for Christmas Eve. They have presents for all the grands, and usually for the adults as well. When we get home, usually the kids talk us into opening one gift a piece, then the rest will be opened in the morning. And Santa doesn't wrap his presents here, but he always did when I was a kid. Isn't that wierd?

This will be our first Christmas Eve without visiting the extended family which we would open theirs. Then we did ours in the morning.
Soooo... I hadn't thought about it! It will be different. Maybe I'll call everyone back home
Wow, a life really changes after BK. I had been so stuck on what was going on for the 60 days........

Wow! You and I must be at the end of the Santa Route - Santa doesn't wrap everything in this house either!
