Goin' for my 341 today

I've been up since 9am, double checking that I have everything I need: got my maps, got my money for parking, even a little extra to get something to eat. I also plan on hitting a market after I'm done, as I've been told they sell weisswurst there. If so, I will be a happy person.

I had thought about taking Metrolink, but since I have no idea what to expect from it, I opted to drive. The drive will also take me past a comic store that sells my favorite Japanese snacks, provided they have them in stock.

I'll report back later. Wish me luck, on the 341, as well as finding my weisswurst and Japanese snacks


ETA: and I'm also going to be paying mine and hubby's property taxes today. Fun.

And I'm back. The meeting went well, and there were a lot of people there. The trustee was taking people who were ready, whether or not it was their appointment time. I had to wait for the representative from my lawyer's office, but once he showed, gave me my petition to look over, then we were ready.

He asked the usual questions he was asking everyone else. I pointed out that the address was incorrect for my employer, that somehow hubby's work address showed as mine as well. Also that my personal checking was being noted as joint when it should be mine alone. The trustee said they were small items that could easily be corrected.

He abandoned the interest in the real estate as I was able to show him that the housing prices had dropped to below what we paid for it. I had to wait around for the 1:30 meeting to see if any creditors showed up, but none came forth. So if none object between now and Feb. 20th, I will be in the clear. I will have to show my tax paperwork to see if they will take it. If I file married, filing separately, I won't get more than $500 back, or even less. But if hubby and I file together, then it may be over $500. It depends, as he sold a lot of stock this year to get by.

I was out of there by 1:40 and managed to get the rest of my errands done for the day. And yes, I did get my weisswurst and Japanese snacks.

So yay!
