Yep went and did it again...

Bought a subscrption to Pogo, they said 2 weeks, didn't think I'd been there that long, but probably have..Dang, account OD by $25 and then there's another $34 going to come on top of that.

Not whining, just bending over so all can take a shot as I need this reminder to not give in when I'm not too sure of tomorrow...Dang it!

Boy that sucks, guess Landlord might have to wait a bit for full payment....

Dang dang, dang..OK, off to work, snowing, expecting 3-5" and working 4 hours Maybe more, but highly doubtful..

I found a wonderful and new way not to bounce a check again. When we were about to run out of checks, I didn't reorder. I have not bounced a check in 42 years but this year about a dozen and $30 each plus pick up fees I estimate about $500 in fees.

We have not bounced a check since I discovered money orders at .40 cents over $30 NFS fee.

WTH?? So this morning, I decide to bite the bullet and check my account (The overdrawn one) and there's a deposit from work (Oh wow, far out) but, the debit from Pogo is gone..Huh? Checking both accounts, I am right on with hours for paycheck..

Weird..I KNOW there was a debit for $29.99...And I was OD by $25.86....

I feel ya about the online games. They are SO addicting. They give you that free hour to "try" it and hook you. My bad is Big Fish Games.

Perhaps your bank reversed the OD because your check made it the same day??

I know that the credit union I have actually has reversed two OD fees for me in the last two months. One was due to my not knowing that at the end of the "year" the electric company would charge any amount over my budgeted bill for all year.... that was like $243 in one whop... not expected at all. I was lucky enough to have noticed it the day it happened and my bank okayed the reversal. The second time was when I unsubscribed from a gamesite and they billed me by accident. Again I caught it the day that it happened. I think the money gods are smiling on me. (or at least not punishing me at all)

I guess the power that be (For me at least) decided that I needed this break, so it's not showing anymore..I am ok otherwise..Older sis knew of tight position, so no gifts except a small $50 grocery card (Needed, I'm out of bread, creamer/coffee/otherstuff food wise)

I was thankful that no one else in family tried to give me anything as I felt just terrible about this..But a free dinner is never to be rejected..(burp!) However, try as I might, neice won't cook turkey for Christmas, but I guess ham is acceptable.

I pay $40 a year for 100s of hours of entertainment. Totally worth it for me, I would spend a lot more on other forms of entertainment.

JUst a small update...I had a "Feeling" that this charge $29.99 wasn't going to hide for long. So Monday after work, I went to one bank (Close to work thank goodness) withdrew $40 and then rode bus to WAMU did a counter deposit and then went home (After checking receipt!)

Well, the charge was ENTERED on the 29th, so was deposit! WHEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was close and I'm going to pay more attention to the "Feelings" from now on!!
