Buy before filing?

Me: moving from San Diego to New Jersey, might be filing bk within the next month or two (just waiting for lawyers to get back from the holidays.)

Should I get a car before filing while my credit is good? I could use one for 1) reliability, 2) all-wheel-drive for the new climate, 3) more space than my current sedan for the family catering business that I'm moving there for.

I'm not sure if there's a suggested time period prior to filing before acquiring a new loan. I bought mine 5 months prior to filing and it wasn't questioned.

I bought mine 2 weeks before filing and no issues.
