I used them in 2003 without any issues, and was able to choose from any "franchised" dealer.

I just applied again and was approved, but I had to select from their "Preferred" Dealer list.

Has anyone used them recently and not use a dealer on their Preferred List?

I was approved for $20K with a interest rate of 19.5% but also need $1000 down (which isn't a problem, but didn't need that last time)

I was turned down by Capital One.

Any idea about what dealer I can use?

I used them about 60 days ago and was not required to use one of their preffered dealers, though they did recommend it.
