    can anyone answer this?

My lawyer says reaffirm car or surrender, I know the judge will not agree to the reaffirm we are -700 on Sch J... say i go through the motions, do it myself pro-se(don't want to pay lawyer to do it) and the judge says no way to reaffirm. I can then continue to pay and hopefully they wont take it, and i at least did try to reaffirm right?
also I am 27 days until last day of objections, if i cannot get infront of a judge within the 60 days will they extend my time to discharge or closing until the judge has decided on the reaffirm? the reason I ask is if that is the case I will surrender, and be without a car.. my main goal is getting discharged and closed.

    Thanks all B

Is possible to amend your Schedule I and J to get your numbers positive. Once your 341 is over, the trustee doesn't care what your numbers look like. The question is, are you -$700 for appearance purposes or are you really that buried in your expenses. If you are, then maybe it is best not to reaffirm. Not all car lenders are repoing cars if you don't reaffirm, and if you risk getting behind again, then the reaff will hurt not help you.

    Good Luck
