OK, I had posted here a few weeks back about the collection agency from canada that added almost 9000 to my original balance. So I sent them a DV letter certified. Well, since its in Canada, its still not there! It left my post office on 12.23.08. It cleared customs in Canada on 1.9.09. That puts it past the thirty day limit. As long as it was originally postmarked before the thirty days, does that count as being within the thirty days to send a DV letter? Or can you send one whenever?
