Help!! Case Closed without discharge

Hey guys.....a friend of mine had his chapter 7 case closed because the lawyer did not file his credit couseling certificate....since it was no fault of his own, what can be done at this point? His lawyer keeps telling him that it's no big deal, but this was a week ago and nothing new on PACER yet.

His lawyer will need to file a motion to have the certificate added.

Since it is his lawyer's fault his lawyer needs to pick up the tab. I'm not sure what the thing is basically its a motion to reinstate with the certificate added.

I've seen it happen a couple of times, so don't give up hope yet.
