    Form Preparation

I just got my forms back from Bridgeport. I don't like the looks of some of the forms...they don't appear complete to me (when asked for information - they did not ask for middle names, the "official" forms specifically ask for middle names--when asked for closed accounts, they only asked for bank names, the "official" forms want account numbers, balances when closed, etc.). I would like to "fix them up". I downloaded new forms, now that I have the information on the forms I should be able to fill them out myself. Problem is.....in today's world of computers....I don't have a typewriter. Are their any forms online that that can be filled out on the computer? Do forms have to be typed? Thanks for any help you can give.

    Hope this helps!

If you are just looking for the IRS forms then check this link: http://www.uscourts.gov/bkforms/bank....html#official

I will note that you are in for days of typing. My solution to this was to purchase Form 7 software...mine was 34.95. Very easy program with fill in the blank fields that takes away all the duplicate entries in the forms. The exemption form is super easy with drop down exemptions for your state. If you are familiar with the forms you can easily produce your final set in an hour with this program. If you do buy it, its very important that you purchase it in one of the names you are filing for, if joint. That is how they keep track of their product.

I used this and had my 341 early this week...no questions or errors and my packet was 100% complete...aced my meeting!

The packets are great for filing out petitions, many lawyers use this packet too....don't let them fool ya!!!

My lawyer had a packet for me to fill out in longhand - then his girl typed it into their forms for me to sign....

My lawyer said if I filled it out and missed something or forgot something, it was my fault - not his..... because only I knew the info that was going into the report.

It is worth the time to invest in it....

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
