Fell behind during lost mitigation

Ch 7 BK discharged 3/08.. went thru loss mitigation with US Bank to try and get caught up. ( I did reaffirm home during BK to avoid losing the house) Fell behind during repayment terms of LM.

Am I screwed? any chance of just doing a refi to catch it up?

I don't think refi is an option for you at all, being just out of bankruptcy and being behind on your mortgage. Did they already modify your mortgage and you still couldn't make the lower payments? If so, I'm not sure there's anything more to do...sounds like you just can't afford the house you are in. But you never know unless you try. Give them a call and see if they can help you.

well no.... they had me pay 3-4 months in a row (normal payments - I made 3) then they were going to roll up the back payments into a 2nd... which I didnt realize until after i got a letter.... been robbing peter to pay paul for about 6 months trying to keep the house and cars.... I can afford it all if i can get caught up.... i guess i can try a straight loan mod ... roll up the past due into the current loan and see if they will do that.
