    Medical and auto?

    Hello everyone,

I have two quick questions regarding what I can consider as allowed expenses.

Are the following items allowed medical expenses? If I have mis-stated one, please let me know.
1.) Healthcare premiums deducted from paycheck???
    2.) Drug Perscriptions
    3.) Dr. Co-Pays (Vision / Dental / Medical)
    4.) Contact Lenses and Frames
5.) Monthly payments owed to hospitals, dr. offices, etc... (that occur outside of the 13 plan)
6.) Any equipment / clothing / devices perscribed by medical professional
    7.) Did I miss anything?

Are the following items allowed for Auto? Again - let me know if I am incorrect on anything:
    1.) Fuel cost
2.) Maintenence such as oil changes, etc...
3.) Any heavy maintenance such as brake repair, transmission, new tires, etc...
4.) Light expenses such as new wiper blades, new battery, etc...

Yes, all of those appear to be allowable expenses, to a certain extent, the extent which is at the discretion of the trustee. If your costs for these things are excessive, they may require that you provide receipts.

Thanks! Fortunately I can provide about $450 in monthly medical costs from receipts and statements. I don't really have receipts for auto, but have been told I have up until my hearing to provide those.
