I'm currently trying to get some post-filing assessments settled with an HOA and their attorney.
I pulled my credit report and saw that the attorney had checked my credit sometime in July or August. Also, there was a credit check for a mortgage (um, I didn't but another place) and more than one of my old creditors were still reporting/checking my credit. Especially the lender for my condo. My place was sold in July, there were still credit checks. Is this even legal? Do I have any recourse for any of this?
