General Rules for the 341.

1. You must have gov't issued photo id (Driver's Licenses, ID card, Passport, etc) and your Social Security Card. (Without these your 341 will not happen.)

2. Dress as you might for a casual night out at a restaurant or other similar function. (In other words don't go in tattered up blue jeans and such or in your best suit you just bought).

3. Do not wear any jewelry other than a plain wedding band and a plain watch. (If you have a diamond wedding ring leave it at home, if you have a rolex leave it at home).

4. Do not bring electronic devices to the court house (no pagers, cell phones, video games etc, any you bring will be confiscated by security though returned to you at the end).

5. Absolutely be there on Time, this is very important. If you are not there when the trustee calls roll, he may or may not give you another chance later (generally they do but don't have to). He can dismiss your case for you being late. So it is best to time your travel to the courthouse to be 20 to 30 min early.

6. Bring any additional paperwork that the trustee has asked for that you have not sent him already. It is best if any is asked for to send it early as the trustee could continue your meeting until another date so he can look over it.
