Loaning Money From a Friend or Family Member after Dischage

Okay. I was wanting to know after your dischaged if you Borrow or Recieve a Gift of Money from a Freind or Family Member would you have to report it to the Trustee.

I have a sister that has offerd to help me get back on my feet. either loaning or giving me money to help start over and im worried if i took it will i have to report it to the trustee if i get it after im Discharged.

No, once you are filed BK CH 7 - and discharged the only funds you have to report are lotto winnings and life insurance payouts.

Family and friends can help you get back on your feet. Good luck.
