    When do CC offers start?

We were told the best way to get our credit up is to get a cc with low interest and use it and pay it off every month. We were also told we should start getting offers. Will it be after our 341? What company is the best to use after bk (like capital one, etc). We have a Dell card but not sure if it will survive. Thanks for any info.

We've received numerous offers already and we are not discharged yet. I don't know which is the best one out there, but as of right now, we have decided to do without them until everything settles down.

    341 - 11/26 went smooth NO ASSET
Took 115 days after 341 - But Finally DISCHARGED 3/25/09

Had my 341 today. Got mail this am after retrurning home and had First Premier Bank
Master Card offer in my mail. Haven't done anything with it ,but thought it strange since I just finished my 13 341 meeting.

After filing, we started with an empty shoebox and each time we receive some type of offer, we put it in the shoebox. Guess what?? It's getting full! You will most likely get credit card offers and car dealership offers.

You will be amazed at all the junk you get, but be cautious. Some of those credit cards have outrageous fees. Don't get suckered in.

My honest opinion, is to get yourself a secured credit card to build your credit. Utilize your own money to fund the card. Or ask a family member to add you as a authorized user on the card, this will also build your credit. When and if you need a car, go get financing, and deal with the high interest rate for 6-12 months, then refinance it.

Dont start getting a bunch of unsecured credit cards through the same companies that you defaulted on and ending up filing a bk, your just falling for their little trap all over again.
