    Should I disoute these

Question I pulled two of my fico reports and scores yesterday and am wondering if I should dispute some items.
First on my debts that were discharged they say
    balance-not reported
    current status-unrated
    past due amount-not reported
but in the notes section they show as IIB. In addition on the seven year payment history they show no lates but yet at the beginning of the report it says they were more than 60 days late. So should I dispute any of these and have them change to 0 balance 0 past due and current status as IIB?

In addition both have the wrong case number for my BK. Would it be worth it to try and dispute the case number to see if the BK falls off?
    Thanks

I would dispute anything. I filed 8 years ago (and, due to divorce, doing it again), but I disputed everything that I could. Most of the accounts were simply removed from the reports.

I agree with monkatom - if in doubt, dispute.
If you dispute too much they'll let you know by saying you have to provide further info. Until that happens, just dispute dispute dispute.

Maybe I'm confused here. Are you saying the bk can fall off

I have heard stories maybe even myths that some people have disputed the case number or something and it disappears. i can say that I disputed several CC's and both my mortgages with transun union as it did not show IIB. This was three months ago and all of them no longer show on my credit report at all. I went last week to myfico as well as annualcreditreport.com and those records are gone. Not sure if that is good or bad but with experian and equifax I have 5 accounts delinquent and only one with transunion.

            How do you dispute?

one way would be to run your free report and see what needs disputing. then send a letter to each agency saying what is wrong etc. Include a copy of the discharge letter as well as the credit matrix from your packet you submitted. This last go around I used myfico generated dispute letter so I am not sure if that will work.
