Hi all, I am in a waiting period of a few months to file chp 7 per my lawyer's advice due to bonus received last year and them not wanting it to be an issue in qualifying for chapter 7 since I will be borderline.
I will of course check with them on Monday, but was curious if anyone knows this answer- With regard to qualifying for chapter 7, does an income tax refund count as 'income' ? I am due about 3500 between state and federal and don't want to cause issues. I AM about to be almost one month behind on my mortgage ($2000), so I could really use the money now to catch it up.
