    Aviation Photos II

So that you do not think that all I do is nature... I have alot of interests, the next being aircraft. The Warbird Museum in Titusville is touch and feel so to speak, no ropes, just keep hands off of the plane. I took 932 on this trip and have several thousand all totaled as I am there about twice a year. the older guys know me and give me no hassle about monopods and tripods and such. Please keep in mind that the Museum Space indoors is crowded but I was able to some low birds eyes with the monopod...

I also have several hundred pics from the Douglass DC-3 being cannibalized to bring her back to life after her post "first restoration" crash along with pics of the rebuild process.
My Dad was flown to San Diego from Manilla packed in a tub of ice in one of these in mid-1945. In the jungle, jaudiced, malaria ridden and having to give shots with shared needles. To this day he still suffers the effects of the liver damage but despite that completed 39 years with Ma Bell in a very nice position in 1979.
He refused the pension offered to him claiming that a Medical discharge would have destroyed his Bell carreer which began in 1939

The lovely "Movie Star", the A-6E Intruder which we all know from the Reagan era
