Just Filed today ch.7 pro se

No one in line!!! Software used form7.com... Clerk said everything was in
order, 10 mins later I'm out the door.... Should get 341 letter Friday..
In the district I filed down stairs was the 341 meeting room.. Probably 10-15
people with there attorney's.. One room with one table and everyone is watching... Kind of suprised me, thought that meeting was between you and
the trustee & creditors... Anyway I am relieved !! Anyone who is thinking
of filing, well It's going to be a real butt buster starting on the 17th.....
New filing fee's were also posted, and yes they are higher than the current
fees.. If you cannot afford an atty... form7.com & a little help from the nice
folks on this forum speaking strickly on ch 7.. chapter 13 was not an option
    for me...

    regards to all,

Well, you have one advantage over me: you don't have to fret about figuring out where to go for your 341! I sent my petition in my mail, even splurged for the $3.85 priority mail. Mainly that was to make sure it got there in good condition!

Out of curiosity/nosiness-call it what you want-are you in the N. Ga district?

We took our paper work in last Friday. Everyone was really nice. They gave us the date for the 341 right then and there - November 11th. We also have to mail a complete set of our paper work to our trustee. Is this just a Colorado thing, or is it that way everywhere?

Maybe its a CO thing... I had read where the courts might require 3-7 copies (depending on which chapter you file) but when I called to ask, the clerk said to send just one. THey probably scan them into PDF files anyhow.
