Matrix Creditors? Should I add really old ones

Hi,

I am finally getting everything together to file sometime next week

Well I was going through old bills to put them in order and obtain the addresses and acct #s and all. I stopped paying since Nov 07..And I have really old collection agencies/creditors. Should I list every single one on the matrix?

For example I have one that started out from the orginal creditor sears, and it has gone through like 6-7 different collection agencies...it's so insane right now I owe four times more than what I really owed initially.

Please advice me on this one and any tips on the format or additional local forms for California Central District, I will greatly appreciate.

Some people recommend listing all of them if you have the information. I had mostly old (4+ years) collections so I just listed the original creditor and the most recent collection agency because that is all the information I had available to me.

List them all.
Better to err on the side of caution.
If you have more than one CA, list "duplicate" or "listed out of caution" next to the creditor in your schedules. List the OC with the amount and known CA for same account as mentioned before. ( don't include the amount twice in your schedules)

I believe the matrix is limited to 8 creditors per page for the Central District of California. You can find the rules on the district site.

Thanks...I am gonna start listing away...Like you said ding dong better err on the side of caution...

By the way does anyone know how to open the Ch. 7 petition in a fillable pdf form...I really would like to type it in using a computer and be able to save it for future reference. Thanks.

You can't unless you have an acrobat add on.

I bought some software over the internet called PDFill. It was around 19.00 for the SW. There may have been a promotional code, so google it first.

There is other sw out there that is similar.

The problem is, even if they are fillable on the website, you cant save them, just print them.

IF you have the full adobe acrobat suite, you may have the add on already, just need to install it.

Yep...pro se.....no asset case so it doesn't seem overwhelming...but it's definately a bunch of paperwork
