    341 meeting 4/6/09

My lawyer just sent me a letter telling me to bring bank statements from the day I filed, photo id, and social security card. He never mentioned the bf I live with and never asked for proof of bf income. People here said the trustees would want that.

The letter did not say anything else. Anything else I should know or bring? I am a bag of nerves!!

    Background:
35k unsecured debt and 42k student loans plus 16k car. I make less than 40k a yr and live with bf.

    expenses:
he put down my car payment, is this allowed?

he put down 300 for food. I sometimes spend more than that since I am on a specialized diet

I pay my bf 950.00 a month. That is for half the morgt and half the bills and taxes and insurance. Will this be too high? I have been paying him this amount since 2005.

Bring what your lawyer advised you to bring. The *only* consistent things that all trustees want to see at the 341 is a government-issued picture ID and a social security card. After that it depends on the individual trustee.

If you are the car's owner and signed the loan, then yes.

If you are filing for Ch 7, it won't matter. The *average* of what you spend is what matters.

Doubtful if your trustee will care, but if he asks, say that you can prove the payments go back 5 years if he needs to see that.

Good luck - you'll be fine!
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

Thanks. I am worried about any verifications needed from my closed accounts though!
