assigned collection or purchased

i am trying to list all my creditors on the matrix and have several accounts that are assigned collection accounts. i know at least one account that was purchased from the original creditor. my question is should i list collection accounts with the balance owed or just list the original creditor balance and show the balance of the assigned account as -0-? the above account that was sold did not indicate a purchased status on my credit report?
