HI all, I already did a search and cannot find an answer to my question.
I am filing Ch7, no abuse.
We are keeping the house, boat ( it is used for buisness) and truck. I have been sent reaffirm papers for the truck and boat, but not the house. I think they are trying to get a couple of extra payments out of me too. they say I owe 80 months, when as best as I can figure it is 78 months. The boat is WAY out there.
The 341 meeting is this Tuesday 4/7. I do not want to actually sign the papers, hoping to get both on a ride thru.
I have called my lawyer and emailed him both. No answer as to if I have to actually sign these. And if I do does it have to be before the 341? I signed intent to keep all three. I am current on all 3. Have never missed any payments nor been late.
I am wanting to keep these, but with Gm going under, the price of gas, and the boat used as a guide buisness, and not sure how well that will go with the economy. I want to ride thru, keep up on the payments, but let it go back if the economy truly tanks.
IS all of this possible?
And I would call my lawyer, but he NEVER calls back. And I have to get the papers notarized. Which only leaves me MOnday to get that done since the 341 is Tuesday.
