transfer of tags after surrender????FL

well can you? Or do you have to turn in your auto tag and pay to get a new one? We are turning in two autos financed by ford and I bought two other autos cash this week. I was hoping to transfer the tags over but I dont know if I can.

any experience would help out.

Yes, you can transfer your current tags. Make sure to take them off of the vehicles you are surrendering. I just did this same thing in Jan 2009 here in Florida too. :)
