How soon will case show on PACER?

My lawyer is supposed to file our case today or tomorrow.... how soon before the filing will show up on PACER?

I know this sounds terrible, but I am hoping to just check out there to make sure it is filed before the deadline under the current laws!!

Anyone have any ideas? Or does it depend on the specific district? I suppose I could call the court and ask them directly??

We filed on sept 29th. I registered on Pacer the 30th (friday), I took the "bill me " route vs. registering with a credit card, so pacer mails you a log in and password. They said it will take 7 days in the mail, however We got ours in the mail on Monday ...2 days later, I went on Pacer and that night and our case was on ther as filed on The 29th.

    Good luck

        Usually posted the next morning............
Then their won't be much posted at the begining until after your 341 meeting......just where the court appoints the trustee and he post bond.
Just check pacer once a week and you will be okay

say, this concerns me. My lawyer filed on Sept. 14, but I don't see us anywhere. I hope I'm looking in the right place. I got the log in and password. I go onto search/index, hit bankruptcy, and put in our date range, name and last four ss. Does that sound right? If it does, it keeps coming up as a No Match for my name or husband's name.

Pls let me know. I would hate to have been overlooked by my lawyer!!

Accentone-you may be putting in too much info. Just try searching by last name, and it will give you a list of all possible matches. (So if you're looking for John Smith, this may not be a good idea, LOL.) Then just click on the right name. I'm assuming you have received your 341 notice by now?
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

I found it! I went into my state and there it was. Gee, what a reality check to see your name on there. Yuck. But at least it's on there.
