My 341 Meeting is tomorrow

I'm feeling a little anxious now as the time is approaching. Any advise, comments, encouragements????????

I cannot believe that once the 2 month deadline is over I will have only a mortgage and a car payment. Seems too good to be true....

I have been very relieved since I filed. I can actually see where the money is going and can budget properly. Granted, I have almost nothing left but I'm okay with it.

Get all your stuff ready for tommarrow. Try and get a good nights sleep. Get there early. Listen to the cases in front of you they will calm you down. Let us know how it goes, we will be rooting for you.

I just had mine today!!

Wow, did I worry for nothing. I know hearings will vary depending upon location, but here in Florida, my 341 was scheduled for 2pm. I showed up at 1:55 (was waiting outside), got called at 2:05, she asked me about 6 questions and we were driving home by 2:15.

We have a house and I was worried that my income might be too high. I posted earlier about not having a ss card but the trustee allowed me to use an old W2. Anyway the questions were regarding my 2004 tax return amount, salary, vehicles and a few other questions about whether anyone owed me money, or if I have any inheritance or lottery winnings coming.

Thats it.

Dont worry, I didnt sleep last night thinking about it, but if I had someone giving me the skinny, I would not have stressed so much.

Get there early, listen to others. Get used to the questions they ask, and that's it. No big deal. Trust everyone here, most have good intentions.

Thanks Ffj2002 for the vote of confidence. I know I do at least. I can't neccessarily say that having someone tell you it isn't as bad as you think because I had been looking at this forum (thanks to my attorney, god bless her) and had talked to several people I knew that had filed bankruptcy and I was still nervous. But I stress nothing anyway. But this forum was the best help to me besides the friends and attorney because there is so much information and support here.

Bankruptcy is stressfull, and nerve wrecking, but we here on the forum (most of us have been there, done it) are still here to help you thru the process and help calm your fears.

Lots of information is available on this forum, just do a lot of reading. Personal experiences, outcomes of bankruptcies, and problems that might arise unforseen......

My meeting is over....

My meeting took 5 minutes at the most. My attorney was present but there were no questions out of the ordinary. I did not hear anyone else's cas as they were conducted in a small room. The door was open but I didn't have a seat within ear or eye shot.
