    Good News! Lost My Job!

Ok, here is a bit of inspirational news, in a funny round about way.

So, last week I lost one of my jobs ( I have two) due partially to the economy and a weenie head new GM that likes to hire bimbo big boobed barbies instead of experienced, hard working veterans ( not military). The job was in a beach town, so you can see why the bimbo big boobed part plays in.

Anyway , I was really depressed, didn't know how I was going to make it, blad blah, so 2 days later I answered an ad for a position I am well qualified for. I was hired on the spot after my interview and started two days later.

Last night was my first shift. So I worked with the owner, she absolutely loved me and wants me to take over the whole operation! ( it is a little fine dining restaurant)

What a friggin miracle! In this economy! Two days w/o a (second) job and now I am going to make more money than before!

HAH! You futher muckin ex manager, you did me a favor! and I don't have to get up before dawn anymore to go to my second job!

Just wanted to give some people hope and know that sometimes things happen for a reason and if you believe in yourself and don't let this crappy economy get you down, you can make it out the other side.

I fully believe in Karma, but I disagree with this being a Karma story.

I am an old fashioned "when the going gets tough person". I say old fashioned because a lot of people today roll over and depend on something other than themselves to succeed.

When the going got tough, YOU, the tough, got going!

Happy to hear such good news. "Peal" out dingdong.

Didn't take it that way at all Startingover. I was thanking the Karma gods myself.

I find the world works in a strange way of balance, and although self initiative and perseverance play a huge role, their is that bit of "luck" or "Karma" that comes into play.

Had I lost my job a few days later, I probably wouldn't have obtained the position and someone else would have been hired. So no matter how great a resume I may have, timing and luck (or karma, whatever you want to call it) did come into play.

So, the universe took care of me in a weird sort of way. Things usually work out and most of us who stick to it make it through it. I guess the lesson is, never give up, believe in yourself, and keep going till things get better, cause eventually they will if you at least try.

Thanks all for your words of support!

Aw, SO, I didn't mean to negate what you said.

Okay, here is me "starting over".

Dingdong, that was a lot of hard work and a little bit of luck.
