    SS Card Question

The social security card that I currently have has my maiden name on it. I lost my one with my married name on it when I had my wallet stolen a few years back. Will this card be ok to take to my 341 meeting? I guess for back up, I have my paycheck stubs with the same ss#.

Also my lawyer said the only things I needed were my DL & SS card, but as I've been reading here, I think I'll have my tax returns, car title, last three months of bank statements etc...in my handy dandy briefcase...just in case.

When I went in to sign my paperwork, Tuesday night, my lawyer had a front room full of filings...he was swamped and said that the FL bankruptcy court is getting extremely behind which may be good as they're going to get overwhelmed with cases at this point...thoughts?

I'm no expert but I don't think it should be a problem.

It's easy to get a new card and you should have it before your 341.

This is the PDF for the application for a new card. Fill it out and bring it to your local SS office along with your DL.

I just did this yesterday and was told I'd have my new card within 2 weeks. There is no cost for this service.
