We were sent a notice of foreclosure on 2/19/09 and told that our sale date for our house would be 5/19/09 (3 months after notice). We then filed for BK on 4/8/09 which put a stay on the foreclosure process. How does this affect the original sale date of 5/19/09, if at all? Also, where would I go to look to see if the sale date has changed. Just trying to prolong moving as long as possible to save money.
