When creditors are notified of the BK, are they told how much they are going to receive or do they just file a claim for the total amount you owe them and take what they can get. I hope this makes sense.

I hope this makes sense. parsoc48 04-29-2009, 07:53 AM My nephew was a creditor on our BK and he was not notified of any amount; I checked the Chpt 13 site when the unsecureds started being paid and looked at the amounts...they were all different...l assumed it was because of the differences in their claim amounts. That is the amount that gets submitted. How much they get paid is a different story, it depends on the % for unsecureds in your base plan. | |
