Just wondering...is it possible to change jobs while you're in the middle of a Chapter 13? What if there is a pay cut involved? Our payment would still be paid each month with no problem...just wondering if anyone knew for sure or not. Thanks.

Sure you can change jobs during a Chapter 13. You will need to advise your attorney. But be prepared to explain why you would leave your present job to take a lower paying job if the lower pay affects your ability, now or later, to make any payments of any kind (mortgage, utilities, Plan payment, etc.) during your Plan._________________________________________

I'm not worried about making the payments. It's more a necessity with the economy in our area and my place of employment is more than likely going to be cutting jobs soon. It's about leaving and having a monthly paycheck and health insurance compared to drawing unemployment and trying to find a job further down the line.
