filing tomorrow!

i have an appt tomorrow with my lawyer to file my case, he said be prepared to be there all day...does anyone know what takes so long?

i really dont mind im just so glad its almost over.

He must be filling out the forms with you....rather than having you fill out the forms first. Did he ask you to bring your documentation?

well i filled out the packet on my own and sent back the documentation, but yes there are more things he told me to bring tomorrow and i guess they are going to help me fill the rest of the stuff out.

im really nervous about the more things i read on this site. Im supposed to be a chapter 7, but im worried about them trying to push me into a 13, i make about 20k a year and have 47k in unsecured debt, idk why im so worried cause my expenses actually have me coming out a lil in the negative...

Just based on the little bit you have posted, I don't see how in the world you could get pushed into a Ch 13.

i guess im paranoid and thinking they are going to try and find a way lol
