Bought a nice used car

We are about 5 months from our case being closed and dismissed and we were in need of a family van after moving across the country (my wife got a great job in TX). We looked at several vans and found a 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan with less then 50k miles priced right, so we applied and got the loan. 14.9% with $1000 down and payments right were we wanted them. I was actually quite surprised at the interest as I thought it would be closer to 20%.
It can be done if you shop carefully!

Congratulations. Soon, we'll be in the same boat. We'll just have to see how long it takes for the repo man to show up.

Now our plan is to pay an extra $100 per month and have it paid off in 2 years. Then drive it till the wheels fall off!
