what do they keep at your 341

when you have your 341 meeting I have read that you are to bring bank statements 3-months and 2 years of taxes. My question does the trustee keep these or just look at them should you make copies for him/her to take. I have heard dont offer anything not asked for . I just want to know what they need to keep.

yes make copies, he took copies of my last two paystubs and kept them, thank god I had copies. Don't volunteer anything just have the information he requested, and drivers license, and social security card. You can also bring last two tax returns, bank statements, etc.. for peace of mind just in case he asks, but typically you will get a paper in the mail stating what he wants you to bring.

Here upon getting my letter if 341 they requested all that stuff before the meeting to be mailed to the trustee.. He gave them all back at the meeting.
