    Previous case (form 1015-2)

I had a BK case about 12 years ago in another state and have NO clue of the details. This form (required in CA) asks for details on previous filings.

Does it matter if its that old? (I know it doesnt matter for filing now, but do they need to know about it on this form? Would hate to perjure myself)

How would I find this information? ("the complete number and title of the prior proceeding, date filed, nature thereof, the Bankruptcy Judge and court to whom assigned, whether still pending and, if not, the disposition thereof") Searched high and low on the web with nothing even close to helping.

Another wrinkle is I need to get this filed asap (found this on a final pass to ensure I have everything).

    Anyone have any thoughts?

Have you looked in Pacer for your previous case?

    Try this link: http://pacer.psc.uscourts.gov/
    Filed CH 7 9/30/2008
    Discharged Jan 5, 2009! Closed Jan 18, 2009

I am not an attorney. None of my advice is legal advice in any way..

I'm pretty sure that Pacer is not that old. You can't even find it on your credit report since it dropped off 2 years ago. I have old credit reports printed out, though. Just a thought. Good luck.
