house ?

Can any one tell me if i have to list the house (we live in) that my spouse owned before we were married ( 3yrs married filing by myself) and still has in their name only both on deed, mortgage, and taxes on schedule A. Or can I put N/A. This is in MA

You can exempt your house from a BK filing. However, you may want to see if you can take out the equity in your home first. Because if your house has enough equity to cover debts, creditor can seek to take the house. Seek the advise of an attorney to state specifics regarding this.
