    Tomorrow is the Day...

    For the 341...

I'm not nervous-I do need to look up directions though & make sure we have cash for parking. (I don't use cash normally, LOL, I live by the debit card.)

      StaciMM,

Calm down, get a good nights sleep (easy said huh?) and tomorrow is the beginning of the rest of your life.......

Your 341 will be okay and probably be very painless.... (unless you have hidden skeletons in your closet)....

Your halfway there now - don't loose it now..... you seem so strong..
The fear of the unknown has gripped many a throat - mine included.
You will be amazed at how easy the process really is...
Most cases are very simple, take a few minutes, and it's over.......
Course others - (like mine) turned into a real BUTT KICKER!!!! But mine is one in a million..........why couldn't I have won the Lottery instead, huh??

Take a bubble bath, relax, eat a nice supper, be kind to yourself this evening.....

Get their early, be prepared with documents that might be needed, and listen to cases before yours.....kind of a buffer zone there....

      Good luck,
Let us know how it went,

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

Good luck Staci. I am new to the board, but read a few of your posts.

I don't know... I would probably find a way to eat a really good steak the night before ... just to tell the universe that abundance will be forthcoming. Abundance = shelter, loved ones, a warm bed... that sort of thing.

I'm mainly curious to see what else goes on-how prepared other people seem to be, if the attorneys there seem to know what they're doing, etc.

Hey-an idea for a book... Spend a bunch of time sitting in on 341's, and write about it.

All will be well, promise. Hang in there a little while longer. Take some deep breathes, get ready, stay busy, leave earllllllllly. I am so glad we got there when court started, 2 hours before our case, but it passed the time constructively and calmed us down more than anything else.
We will be waiting to hear from you.
I'll be watching, you may never know when or how, but I'll be there. I am there now....

I was the same way. I just wanted to know how everyone else acted and looked. Some attornies were very prepared, others were horrible. I thought, "Hey, I know more than that attorney; or why didn't their lawyer tell them this?" One girl (who had a lawyer) admitted that she paid her mother $2K from her tax check. I leaned over and told my hubby that the trustee will take that money and sure enough, the trustee wanted her mother's name and address. It really did make me feel better being so knowledgable about the bk process. I owe a lot of my sanity to this board. And it sounds like you have a nice grip on the whole process too StaciMM. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

I have a feeling that the meeting will go your way given all the good karma you've accumulated by helping people at this forum.

Now it's your turn! It will be a piece of cake. Don't be dissappointed over the lack of excitement.
