Chap 7: Small Bus. But No Income

Greetings, Everyone! I've been "lurking" on this forum for the last two mos. as I've been debating Chap. 7 filing.

First off, wonderful to know that I am not "alone" in this life-changing decision/event and that there are so many wonderful and extremely knowledgeable folk here who have been cheerfully helping each other out.

Like many, I cannot afford a BK lawyer and cannot even afford a BK paralegal to help me type up my forms, so, am doing this on my own.

I am in So. California and have completed the prequalification course online. I attended a "workshop" at the local BK court and consulted with one of several pro-bono lawyers in attendance giving advice that day and the one I spoke to said that filling out one's own forms is no more difficult to do than an income tax long form. She was actually quite encouraging.

I will likely have a few ???s coming up in the next couple of weeks, and hope someone(s) can advise, but the most important one I have is this:

    1) I owned a small business (arts and crafts) with a license between Oct. 2007 to Oct. 2008 but never made any profit nor did I ever even use my "Seller's" (resale) permit (my business tax returns since then, quarterly, have all been "ZERO" down the line). I never sold anything, as a matter of fact.

Since the Voluntary Petition requests "all names known under," I am guessing this means my Maiden and Married Names and also my Fictitious Business Name?

Thank you so much in advance!
