My lawyer seems to give me no answers or answers that I dont think are honest or correct. (makes this whole process so much worse) I get the impression that he thinks I am bothering him when asking questions which he always answers with "dont worry about it" or some babble that never answers the question.
He screwed up my budget last week, had it fixed this week (I think) I dont have a copy, I have no date on which he is filing, all I know is before the new law. I just want everything correct and it seems to annoy him.
Anyway, since I cant get in touch with him, heres my question.
I didnt get my paycheck from last week yet (tomorrow I think) then I'm supposed to get my paycheck for this week on monday. He already wrote down my checking account amounts yesterday on the petition.
Do I have to deposit these checks to my bank account? I need to pay rent at the end of the month plus bills, he set me back 2 weeks already and it's still not filled yet as far as I know.
State is NY
Do I cash the checks and keep reciepts? also how would you keep a reciept for a check that is going to a portion of next months rent? (2 paychecks and a portion of 3rd a month go to rent)
Thank in advance
