Schedule J (Exepenses) Not What I Submitted to Lawyer

Just found my case on Pacer.... problem is (or maybe it's not really a problem and I am worrying for nothing).... but the amounts on schedule J are not what I reported to attorney and signed to when I met with him.

My income exactly matches my expense (exact dollar).... Does this look suspicious.

He actually lowered some "actual" costs.... like car insurance and house insurance, I guess I wouldn't be so concerned if they were the "estimated" ones like food or gas.

    Any thoughts??

It does seem odd that he lowered your car insurance & house insurance. And to me, it would seem odd that you were perfectly even.

Yeah, I thought that was odd too.... that it was exactly the same dollar amount for income & expense.

Another thing about the expense schedule... he never included my home taxes (that are not included in mortgage payment), I mentioned this to him at our meeting and he was going to add that to my schedule. I wonder if he just forgot? That would put me about -$150/month.

How difficult is it to amend this form?

I think I will wait until next week to contact him because I how it's probably hectic in the office this week.

Amending the schedules is not a big deal, and I think the only time an amendment costs anything at the courthouse is if you add creditors.

Yesterday, the trustee at my 341 did tell one guy's attorney to amend his Schedule A to include the house that the guy had moved out of. When trustee asked why it wasn't there (it was on the statement of intentions to surrender & listed as a creditor) attorney said "I thought it had already been foreclosed on". The trustee knew about it because the creditor filed a motion to lift stay so they could start the foreclosure process. It didn't change anything for the guy who filed BK, but the trustee commented that the forms were supposed to be right 'for statistical purposes'.
