Short Sale After Chapter 7

I was discharged and case closed on April 1st. I paid my mortgage through May 1st and have now stopped, I'm moving mid August. My mortgages were part of the bankruptcy and were not reaffirmed, I have no liability as to those. I spoke to my two lenders about doing a short sale before I leave as I'm a licensed realtor with plenty of short sale experience and they are open to it. I have between downpayment, improvements and mortgage payments spent the best part of 250,000 on my home and I have lost it all because of the market value of my home now and economic conditions. My income is down 60% on last year, 90% on the previous year, I cannot afford 5,000 a month any more. Long and short, if I can sell the house short sale and salvage 20k or 30k, I'm still gutted but I'll take it. Anyone ever seen this? My attorney says it's cool, I suppose I can get them an offer and they can take it or shove it?
