Now what? 60 days up; no objections; 341 still open and no report...

I guess I just sit and wait? I have a call into my attorney but I just don't understand what's happening and what potentially could happen from this point forward. This is where the process gets fuzzy for me.

It's been 61 days since my 341 and the deadline for creditors to file objections was yesterday. I've checked Pacer every day since my 341 and the trustee has done nothing since then. The 341 was not concluded and a report of no distribution still hasn't been filed.

What gives? What can the trustee still do at this point?

I know you are anxious to see something on Pacer. Don't know where you live; however, read an article bankruptcies are at their highest peak in history. Think the Trustees' & Assistants are back-logged & are not updating records.

Try not to worry (I know easier said than done). Think Positive!

Gee, we have to wait until 9/09 to file & I'm just praying we don't get sued before then

I talked to my attorney and she said that it's likely going to be a while before I see anything happen. She had previously described my trustee as being "smart and greedy" and today, added "notoriously slow" to the description. She said that they have a few cases with the same trustee which are ahead of mine by four to six weeks for which the creditor's meetings still haven't been closed.

And, since the 341 hasn't been closed, the trustee can still object to any/all of my exemptions up until 30 days after he chooses to close it.

Bummer. This is still far from over for me.
