    Noticed mistake on creditor list

i listed a creditor as unsecured which i think, is really secured, as it was a purchase of furniture from a furniture store.

Can I fix that easily by amending that part???

What a fine mess I am in! I'm so stupid!

I could be wrong, but it probably is unsecured. I too have some debt from a furniture store, but the debt is actually to the bank which backs the credit card for that store. Unless your situation is different then mine I think you're probably fine.

Commonly secured debts are those for auto loans and mortgages.

Honestly, I'd be surprised if the debt was unsecured, if you bought the item and financed at the store or through the stores credit card, 9 times out of 10, its secured.

However, furniture creditors talk tough at the beginning of your case trying to get a reaffirmation agreement, but the rarely object or come get the furniture.
