Just got some paperwork from atty (Schedule D - Creditors Holding Secured Claims) showing a secured second on house but NDC is showing it as second but unsecured. Are they both correct and the second was stripped? Will get in touch with legal but just thought I would throw the ? out there for a possible explaination. How accurate is NDC on these things as it does not show it being paid and I definitely don't want this rearing up at the end of the BK.

You are doing the right thing contacting your lawyer about this.

Right after we filed our 13, our trustee's website showed us owing one of our creditors who filed a claim $22,000 instead of $2,200! I contacted our lawyer who contacted the trustee and got that corrected right away (it was a data entry error by the trustee's office staff). I'd rather encourage the trustee to keep our records reasonably accurate than find out later that there was a simple clerical error that screwed up our case because I didn't do anything about it.

Update

NDC had the correct info. Atty informed me that the second was secured but stripped so became unsecured provided we complete the chapter 13.
I can't say enough about our atty as she got us a heck of a plan that actually allows us to live again. Particularly since I'm finding out she has done all the right things before I even knew about this forum. Anyone out there need a sharp atty and living in the Raleigh area of NC drop me a PM.
