looking good so far I think ( knocking on wood and particle board)
6 more weeks of waiting I know, but I think i am past the "usual" notification time's right?

not from what many have encountered. I've seen posts here where something came in 1 day before the 60 days were up...
can't count on anything until it's day 61.

If the UST was going to dismiss for presumption of abuse you would have heard by now. You're probably fine.

I just logged on to ask the same question! :) I am counting just like you! My attorney was very happy that the UST did not show up at the 341. I am hoping that it was a good sign, and I hope for you too!! When was your 341?
Right now I am dealing with my mortgage company requesting a release of stay. I am a little over one month behind, but plan on being caught up prior to discharge. The stress...I can't wait until it is all over!

Why do you think the US trustee would be interested in your case?
He is interested in me, he has had two questions for my attorney already and that was within a week of filing! :( We have a large amount of unsecured debt and he wanted to know how long ago was the debt incurred and why we can no longer pay it back. Attorney said he was satisfied with our answers...

The UST has also come up with presumption of abuse for us before 341. I have supplied information wanted and more. Hopefully it will keep her happy. If she allow the expenses we provided we will be in the hole by 30 bucks. (I ran the means test with numbers she had and the expenses she contested.) Wish me luck next Monday!!

We (my husband and I) are over the median by appox. $25K and we have over $100K in unsecured debt. I hope, I hope there is no interest in my case. I have tried for years to stay afloat, but I just couldn't do it anymore. I tried sooooo hard. Right now, I wish I would have filed BK years ago.

we filed in June and just had our 341 2wks ago
I had over 100k in unsecured debt and i decided to also include my house
everything was fine until august last year BAM income went down and interest rates went up!
I didn't use the cards once I knew I wouldn't be able to make payments
I was honest in the paperwork so I know i am not "hiding" anything for them to look at
But I did have a lot of debt
I am thinking they may have saw we were able to keep up with our debt fine until the circumstances ...STILL i did have a lot of debt and i just keep wondering if they are going to look closer
