How are the BK's supposed to look on the credit report?

We started out as a 13 and then in April we converted to a 7.

Right now on our credit report it only shows the Ch 13. But if you look at the adverse accounts they all show included in Ch 7.

Is that how it's supposed to look? Will that Ch 13 eventually be updated and say discharged or what?

What I'm wondering is how does a creditor know you've been discharged? Will it show up on the credit report?

people have said on this forum that the discharge date does appear on the credit report.

but hey, be patient!!! your discharge date is, ahm, today. i know you are very very excited, but give it a month or two :)

I know I just wasn't sure how it should look. I thought maybe it would show the Ch 13 and the Ch 7 but maybe not.

it's good that it says ch13 there - that falls off after 7, not 10, years :)
