    Snow Cleaning On Abandoned property

Who is repsonsible for that and Lawn mowing also?. Does city cleans and sends a bill?. I am moving overseas, so I won't get that certified mail by city.

Depends on a couple things. Is it actually part of a city? Some properties have city addresses but are actually in the county or rural district. Is there a HOA for the neighborhood?

Many times if the current owner of the deed cannot be found they will place a lien against the property for cleaning and maintenance, and collect when the property is eventually sold.

But not all things can be discharged in some states. HOA fees are one of the more complex ones, which are handled differently in some states. All of this will factor in, as well as you being absent from the country.

A lawyer can answer I am sure, but it may not be worth spending the money if you are going to be unreachable.

We live in Omaha, NE. Our neighborhood is part of the city. City Picks up the trash for us. HOA is there. But we pay only a minimum amount for that just $100 per annum.

I lived in that area for a while. Nice town, great beef!

I wouldn't worry too much about either of those expenses. If it is 100 per year, I imagine it would take a couple years before they pursued any activity, and by then the place should be deeded to the lender, and foreclosure finished.

The city bill, same deal, though they may sue quicker. The result would probably be a lien against the property.
