The won't stop

Hi all
we just filed cap 7 and have one ceridtor that will not stop calling and harrassing us. It is Card Services. They won't give me there name when we ask and only give me a phone number that dose not work. We have told the the case number and given them the attrs name. What else can we do?? They have called 3 times today!!

I just let my lawyer know sure hope he can make them stop! These guys are very rude and very unplesent. It takes my lawyer a day or so to get back to me as everything has to be in wrighting. What happens if they don't stop calling after the lawyer speaks with them??

My only thought-if you know which account they're calling about-is to call the original creditor, ask if their files show info on the BK yet-and when they say yes ask them when did they notify the collection agency. Let them know the trouble you're having.

If the CA violates the automatic stay, not only does the CA get in trouble but so does the OC. The OC will put a stop to it pretty quickly, I imagine.

Remind them when they call that they are breaking the law, and you will press the issue financially if you have to.
