Where I live we got a lot of rainnnnnnnn. Like we really needed after 2 weeks ago, got more water then, than in hurricane Floyd, it just didn't hang around as long. I couldn't get to work for a week.
We have frost warnings out tonight, this crazy weather is killing me. Between the hot/cold & the pollen........
Anyway, all the storm victims are on our minds.

We got hellacious wind...

We had the storm warnings up through Longboat Key where I work. The wind came through Sunday night/Monday morning at 60 mph on Anna Maria Island where I live about 5:30 a.m. We just sat up and had cocktails while we watched the weather channel. Power went out on the island but not at my house. But I just had a gentleman here on the property at LBK come over from Ft. Lauderdale/Inverrary and said it came through his place at over 100 mph and he had to leave because no power. They were rationing gas on the turnpike. Just incredible and not much got really said about it coming through Ft. Meyers/Naples....but the East coast of FL on the Lauderdale side got whipped....and now tropical storm Beta is going through Costa Rica. We're about 50 degrees right now so the Gulf has certainly cooled down. Just been catching up on a lot of sleep.
