Our taxes are included in our mortgage. We stopped paying our mortgage in June 2009. We have received a letter of default, but nothing else. Our property taxes will come due in November 2009. Don't know if we'll still be here or not. Any insights?

The lender will pay the taxes and the amount will still be included in your missed payments. -
I'm in the same situation as I stopped paying June 1st. Lender still allows me to see the account online and it shows they paid July's taxes. It now shows a negative escrow. As stated above, they will add it to your owed payments.Filed Chapter 7: 06/29/2009
